Last night, I’d try to perfect a whole wheat dough. I added a bit more sugar and better pink salt, I know, fancy, plus a dash more. It wasn’t good! I mean, the taste was “meh.” Toppings didn’t save it, either. I pulled apart some chicken and spread amazing BBQ sauce on half, sauteed onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and some pepperoni. The air fry oven was scorching at 500 for 10(ish) minutes. It looked good, but the whole wheat taste soured me. Though, I have an idea for my next whole wheat dough—Mike’s Hot Honey. Spread a bit as the first layer of sauce and go from there. I think that would enhance the dough’s flavor. Or maybe it’s the whole wheat. I don’t know.
